Youth Advisory Council — U.S. Embassy in Australia
Appointed to the U.S. Embassy in Australia's Youth Advisory Council, providing a youth perspective on U.S.-Australia relations, public diplomacy, and policy priorities.
Bhaw was selected to serve on the U.S. Embassy Youth Advisory Council. The council brings together high-achieving young Australians from diverse backgrounds to engage regularly with U.S. diplomats and senior officials.
Participants advise U.S. diplomats on issues affecting young Australians, offer new perspectives on public engagement and undertake projects on shared priorities. Areas of discussion include defence, technology, climate and education, strengthening dialogue between the Embassy and Australia’s emerging professional community.
Within the council, Bhaw’s focus is cybersecurity policy and the technological dimensions of the Australia–U.S. alliance. This includes the advanced capabilities central to AUKUS Pillar II, particularly artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and quantum technologies.
